Dacula had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the North Gwinnett Bulldogs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since September 19, 2024.

Dacula took North Gwinnett into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-23, 25-15, 20-25, 15-11.

Looking ahead, Dacula will face off against Westminster Christian Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Gwinnett, they will take on North Hall in a tournament on Saturday.
