Baseball Recap: Curry Comes Up Short

Curry made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hamilton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Aggies recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Curry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Dunagan, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base. Riley Maddox also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Curry's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Hamilton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Curry will welcome Haleyville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will be playing at home against South Lamar at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
