It was a proper cat-fight when Irving duked it out withSulphur Springs on Saturday. Irving fell just short of Sulphur Springs by a score of 58-56.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Berkner's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 70-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lovejoy.

Berkner's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Irving, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Irving came up short against Berkner in their previous meeting back in February, falling 57-52. Can Irving avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
