Recap: Opp Bobcats vs. Pleasant Home Eagles
The Opp Bobcats were the 56-51 winner over the Pleasant Home Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Opp lost to Pleasant Home on the road by a decisive 56-41 margin on Friday.
When it comes to explaining why Opp lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dorian Harris. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. Josh Smith was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Opp's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pleasant Home, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Opp will head out on the road to face off against Red Level at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant Home, they will be playing at home against Florala at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Florala is ranked 130th, while Pleasant Home is ranked 111th).
