Football Recap: Wynnewood Piles Up the Points Against Allen

Wynnewood's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They breezed past the Allen Mustangs to the tune of 48-16. The Savages have beaten the Mustangs the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

Despite the loss, Allen still got an impressive performance from Quinton Box, who threw for 101 yards and two TDs on only eight passes, and also rushed for 98 yards on only 11 carries.

Wynnewood's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Allen, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Wynnewood has already played their next matchup, a 56-14 victory against Hobart on the 26th. As for Allen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 54-17 defeat against Talihina on the 26th.
