Verrado saw some tournament action on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 55-54 win over Benjamin Franklin.

Meanwhile, everything went Paradise Valley's way against Shadow Mountain on Wednesday as Paradise Valley made off with a 33-13 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Verrado's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10. As for Paradise Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
