Preview: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. Oak Creek Knights
Kenosha Tremper is 2-8 against Oak Creek since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Kenosha Tremper Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Oak Creek Knights at 7:00 p.m. Kenosha Tremper has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Kenosha Tremper, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 70-52 loss to Catholic Memorial. While losing is never fun, Kenosha Tremper can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Catholic Memorial is ranked 201st).
Meanwhile, Oak Creek's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milwaukee Lutheran.
Kenosha Tremper has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Oak Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Kenosha Tremper might still be hurting after the 80-60 defeat they got from Oak Creek in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Kenosha Tremper avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
