Basketball Recap: Sauk Centre Takes a Loss

Sauk Centre was the 53-50 winner over Mora when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 76-75 to the Mora Mustangs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Mainstreeters still had to take the loss.

Sauk Centre's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Mora, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Sauk Centre will face off against West Central Area at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mora, they will host Rush City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
