The Spartans are taking a road trip to square off against the Panthers at 5:45 p.m. KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Mary's, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, St. Mary's was able to grind out a solid victory over Salem, taking the game 3-1. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Witches recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

St. Mary's was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Academy of Notre Dame. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since September 18th.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-22.

St. Mary's now has a winning record of 9-8. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
