Basketball Recap: Bradenton Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bradenton Christian can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Evangelical Christian Sentinels and fell 69-18. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evangelical Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nalah Smith, who went 7-for-9 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 60% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kellisia Grant, who posted 11 points along with six boards and four steals.

Bradenton Christian dropped their record down to 13-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Evangelical Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
