Baseball Recap: Crossville Comes Up Short

Crossville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Douglas Eagles, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 last Tuesday.

Crossville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Douglas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-11.

Crossville has already played their next match, a 16-2 loss against Fyffe on the 11th. As for Douglas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Section on the 14th.
