Softball Game Preview: Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Mojave Rattlers

The Las Vegas Wildcats will head out to face off against the Mojave Rattlers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Las Vegas has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Las Vegas is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 21 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Desert Oasis on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Diamondbacks. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Diamondbacks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Mojave fell victim to Southeast Career Tech and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Roadrunners, falling 12-0. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Las Vegas suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Mojave when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
