Softball Recap: Chickasaw Drops Season-High Score on Blount

Chickasaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blount Leopards. On the bright side, the 13- run effort marked the Chieftains' highest-scoring game to date.

Emma Roberts made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Watson, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Chickasaw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Blount, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Chickasaw has already played their next contest (against Vigor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Blount also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Rain.
