Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Cascade's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cascade walked away with it. They came out on top against the Owen Valley Patriots by a score of 63-52 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-32 back in February.

Brady Trebley was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 13 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last seven games he's played. Toby Savini was another key player, shooting 64% from the field on his way to 16 points and three steals.

Owen Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden White, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points and three blocks. The dominant performance gave White a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Joey Richardson, who posted 13 points.

Cascade has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. Owen Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.

Cascade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 74-54 defeat against Speedway on the 7th. Owen Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
