Miami Country Day skates past Avant Garde Academy with ease

Recap: Miami Country Day Spartans vs. Avant Garde Academy Sharks

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Miami Country Day Spartans walked away with it. They breezed by the Sharks on the road to the tune of 116-49 on Tuesday. Miami Country Day's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Herbert Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 51 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Aiden Reid was another key contributor, dropping a triple-double on ten points, ten assists, and ten steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Miami Country Day, bringing their record for this year to 15-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.7 points per game. As for Avant Garde Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Miami Country Day is on the road again on Thursday and plays NSU University at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. NSU University has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,887 points over their last 24 matchups. Avant Garde Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
