Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Lincoln Park Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 20-1 to the Jensen Beach Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Lincoln Park Academy dropped their record down to 2-9-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Jensen Beach, they moved to 4-12 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Lincoln Park Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Port St. Lucie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.83 runs per game on average), something the Greyhounds will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jensen Beach, they will host Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are facing the Brahmans at the right time seeing as the Brahmans are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
