Volleyball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

Algonac extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 11-22-1. They came up short against the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers, falling 3-0. If the Muskrats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Croswell-Lexington, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 17-19. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Emma Adams, who had 17 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Rozlynn Cayce, who had six digs and three aces.

Looking ahead, Algonac will head out on the road to face off against Allen Park at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Croswell-Lexington, they will face off against Lakeville at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
