Alice has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging three runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McAllen Memorial Mustangs. One positive for the Coyotes, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Robert Ramirez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Ale Asevedo, who scored a run and stole Two bases.
