After losing to Warren Township the last time they met, Wauconda decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wauconda Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 53-39 victory over the Warren Township Blue Devils on Monday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 393rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wauconda's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Warren Township, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wauconda will head out to face off against North Chicago at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wauconda is facing North Chicago at the right time seeing as North Chicago is stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Warren Township, they will challenge Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
