High school basketball: NIBC teams up with EYBL to form EYBL Scholastic conference

Link Academy, Brewster Academy, Canyon International Academy, Orangeville Prep and Veritas Prep join high school basketball power conference.
The National Interscholastic Basketball Conference (NIBC) announced Monday evening it is teaming up with the Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) to form the EYBL Scholastic conference.
The re-branded league of top teams in the country includes nine members from last year's NIBC returning as
Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.),
IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.),
La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.),
AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.),
Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah),
Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.),
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.),
Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.) and
Legacy Early College (Greenville, S.C.) will be joined by newcomers
Link Academy (Branson, Mo.),
Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.), Canyon International Academy (Scottsdale, Ariz.),
Orangeville Prep (Orangeville, Canada) and Veritas Prep (Ontario, Calif.) in the 14-member league.
Sunrise Christian Academy claimed the inaugural conference championship in 2022 before Montverde Academy claimed the 2023 conference title.
IMG Academy has also seen success in conference play as the Ascenders have a combined record of 15-7 in NIBC action through two seasons.
EYBL Scholastic will feature 84 games this season with approximately 30 contests televised live across ESPN platforms. The conference includes eight of the top 10 teams in the
Preseason National Top 10.
