Basketball Recap: Poughkeepsie Gets the Win

Poughkeepsie lost to North Rockland back in December of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Poughkeepsie Pioneers came out on top against the North Rockland Raiders by a score of 66-55.

The victory got Poughkeepsie back to even at 2-2. As for North Rockland, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Poughkeepsie will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brewster at 6:15 p.m. on January 21st. As for North Rockland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-51 victory against Kingston on the 11th.
