Soccer Game Preview: Summit vs. Eagle Valley

Summit hasn't had much luck against Eagle Valley recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Devils at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monday just wasn't the day for Summit's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Battle Mountain on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Summit have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, neither Eagle Valley nor Palisade could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Eagle Valley's record moves to 4-5-3. As for Summit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5-1.

Summit skirted past Eagle Valley 2-1 when the teams last played back in March. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
