Ennis extended the longest winning streak in Southern C - West (8 Man) this week by beating Twin Bridges, 50-20. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Mustangs.
White Sulphur Springs took down Sheridan 76-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ennis' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dalton Bullock threw for 240 and four touchdowns and Connor Sullivan had 113 yards receiving. On the ground Roy Moen chipped in 119 yards. Walker McKitrick helped Ennis' passing attack out by catching two balls for 59 yards.
Ennis' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bullock has thrown for 806 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Sullivan has 27 catches for 577 yards. Moen leads the league in rushing with 550 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Mustangs take on the Panthers. Ennis' offense has recorded 223 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Sheridan has permitted only 254 on the year.
A big matchup in Southern C - West (8 Man) this week will be when the Mustangs take on the Panthers. As it stands, Ennis is in first, while Sheridan is in fifth.
The Hornets led the league in scoring this week after putting up 76 points on the Panthers.
