Volleyball Recap: Granada Takes a Loss

Granada lost against Foothill back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Granada took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Foothill.

While Granada had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23.

Granada's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Foothill, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Granada will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on April 9. As for Foothill, they will take on Ripon Christian in a tournament on Saturday.
