Volleyball Recap: Putnam Comes Up Short

Putnam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Rockville Rams. The Clippers were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

While Putnam was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Rockville's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 27-25.

Putnam's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rockville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Putnam will take on Norwich RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockville, they will face off against Wolcott RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
