The Billings Senior Broncs will venture away from home to challenge the Billings Central Catholic Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Billings Senior is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.

Billings Senior gave up the first runs last Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Skyview. The Broncs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

Rayvin Fisher looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Billings Senior got a massive performance out of Madi Ban, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI Ban has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Octavia Meyer, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4.

Billings Senior was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Billings Central Catholic fell victim to Laurel and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Locomotives. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered against the Locomotives since April 8, 2017.

Billings Senior pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Billings Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
