The Liberty Union Lions and the Tyler Knights will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Tyler took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Liberty Union, who comes in off a win.

Liberty Union is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since December 12, 2023 on Friday. It was close, but they capped 2024 with a 66-63 win over Parkersburg.

Meanwhile, Tyler was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 49-44 to Fort Frye. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tyler fell to 2-1. As for Liberty Union, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
