Softball Recap: Goodrich Gets the Win

Goodrich proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Imlay City Spartans 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 on May 3rd.

Goodrich pushed their record up to 27-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Imlay City, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Looking ahead, Goodrich will square off against Lake Orion at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Imlay City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
