Basketball Recap: North Rose-Wolcott Takes a Loss

North Rose-Wolcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Lyons Lions 61-34. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 667th, while the Lions are ranked 88th).

North Rose-Wolcott's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lyons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Rose-Wolcott has already played their next match (against Red Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lyons has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Mynderse Academy.
