Elijah Pardo Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, South San Antonio got the W thanks in part to Elijah Pardo playing the best football he has all season. Pardo rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

South San Antonio pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Pardo and South San Antonio will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southwest Legacy at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

A Season-Best Effort from Austin Diggs Leads Southwest over Southwest Legacy

Southwest was led to victory by Austin Diggs, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Diggs rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 71 yards.

The victory for Southwest keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Diggs and Southwest will head out on the road to face off against Winn at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Southwest picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Aazeryuan Voss. Southwest Legacy had no answer to Voss as he picked up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

On the year, Voss has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 82.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had five receiving touchdowns.

Franco Came Up Big in Southwest's 41-13 Victory

Aj Franco's big game helped extend Southwest's winning streak to seven on Friday. Southwest Legacy had no answer to Franco as he threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes. The dominant performance also gave Franco a new career-high in rushing yards (15).

On the season, Franco has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 160.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging five passing yards per game.

Tajari Wellington Turns in Season-Best Effort

Tajari Wellington produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Jay to the win on Friday. Wellington threw for 152 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

The win for Jay keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Wellington's next contest is against Martin on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
