Softball Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Mountain View Bruins

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westlake, Lone Peak was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Mountain View Bruins. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Clara Gourley made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
