Soccer Game Preview: Pine Tree vs. Sherman

The Pine Tree Pirates will be taking part in a tournament against the Sherman Bearcats at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pine Tree saw some tournament action on Friday. They and Ennis finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Sherman was not quite Gainesville's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Leopards by a score of 2-1.

Sherman's goal came courtesy of Molly Dollar, who's now up to two this season.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. With that draw, Pine Tree's record moves to 0-3-2.
