Volleyball Game Preview: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles

The Walhalla Razorbacks will face off against the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Walhalla is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Monday, Walhalla got the win against Christ Church Episcopal by a conclusive 3-0.

Walhalla never let Christ Church Episcopal on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Asheville Christian Academy by a score of 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-16 in the first set.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee actually scored more points across those five sets (106-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-17, 25-23, 20-25, 18-16.

Walhalla's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
