Football Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Bowie

Bowie won the last time they faced Judson, and Rhys Moreno did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 29-10 win over the Rockets on Thursday with plenty of help from Moreno, who rushed for 240 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

The victory made it two in a row for Bowie and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24 points in those games. As for Judson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Bowie and Judson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will take on rival Lake Travis at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Judson is set to face off against their familiar foe East Central at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
