Football Recap: Hollins Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hollins fell victim to Countryside and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 25-0 to the Cougars. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Trey Teasdale threw for 68 yards on seven of 20 attempts. Isaiah Carter was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Countryside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cam Waddington, who threw for 137 yards and a pair of TDs.

Hollins is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Countryside, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Hollins will head out to square off against Dunedin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Countryside, they will host Seminole at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
