Basketball Recap: North Stafford Comes Up Short

North Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. The game between them and the Massaponax Panthers didn't end well, with the North Stafford Wolverines falling 47-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-27 last Friday.

Massaponax can attribute much of their success to Jada Johnson, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gabby Razor, who had eight points and three steals.

North Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Massaponax, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Stafford the next time they take the court. North Stafford will host Stafford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Massaponax will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
