Soccer Recap: Encinal Takes a Loss

Encinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Mt. Eden Monarchs. The Jets were probably out for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Encinal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mt. Eden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Encinal will take on San Leandro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Eden, they will square off against Tennyson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tennyson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
