Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the White Oak Roughnecks, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rayleigh Gulk, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double was Gulk's first of the season.

Jefferson now has a losing record of 6-7. As for White Oak, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will venture away from home to take on Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Oak, they will square off against Sabine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
