Softball Recap: Port Washington Vikings vs. Oviedo Lions
Port Washington had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 14-1 to the Oviedo Lions on Wednesday.
For Oviedo's part, Charlotte Jenks tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
On the hitting side, Oviedo got a massive performance out of Jamison Townsend, who went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddi Slavik, who went 3-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base.
