Basketball Recap: Belleville Mennonite Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Belleville Mennonite Thunder came up short against the Ferndale Yellow Jackets and fell 55-44. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caleb Fenton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ferndale, going 8 for 15 en route to 20 points and eight rebounds. The match was Fenton's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Bryner, who posted ten points.

Belleville Mennonite's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ferndale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.

Belleville Mennonite didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-40 loss against Johnstown Christian on the 1st. Ferndale has also already played their next contest, a 71-57 defeat against Conemaugh Valley on the 1st.
