Football Recap: Pine Comes Up Short

Pine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Suncoast Chargers 40-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Chargers are ranked 94th).

Phileah Bright produced another solid performance throwing for 104 yards and five TDs for Suncoast. What's more, Bright racked up 126.7 passer rating, the most she's had since back in February.

Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Suncoast, their record now sits at 8-1.

Pine has already played their next contest (against Okeechobee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Suncoast, they have also already played their next match, a 22-7 loss against Jupiter on the 3rd.
