Basketball Recap: Newark Valley Starts off Right with Win over Greene

Newark Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Greene Trojans 55-37 on Monday. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 61-42 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.

Greene is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
