Volleyball Recap: Research Triangle Has No Trouble Against Carolina Friends

The Research Triangle Raptors got the win against the Carolina Friends Quakers on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-9, 25-13.

Jacee Oneal paced Research Triangle's offense, picking up eight kills. Oneal got some help from Lucy Cade and her 11 assists. Cade was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

The victory got Research Triangle back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Research Triangle will welcome Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carolina Friends, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Discovery Charter School at 5:00 p.m.
