Softball Recap: Mira Loma Matadors vs. Woodland Wolves
Mira Loma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Woodland Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mira Loma of the 27-23 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
For Woodland's part, they got a big performance out of Nayla Rodriguez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Emily Rathjen, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
Mira Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Woodland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-16.
