Basketball Game Preview: Louisiana Bulldogs vs. Veritas Christian Academy Eagles

The Louisiana Bulldogs will take on the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-31, which was the final score in Louisiana's tilt against Montgomery County on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Veritas Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 61-49 to Wright City.

Louisiana will have to contain Lusajo Kasyupa as he made an impact in Veritas Christian Academy's last game. He posted 12 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Niemeyer, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 12 points.

Louisiana's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
