Rosamond had won two straight road games and Jaylen Lopez did his part to make it three on Wednesday. The Roadrunners blew past the Desert Scorpions 52-16 for which the team can thank Lopez, who posted 21 points. Rosamond is 4-2 when Lopez posts 15 or more points, but 1-2 otherwise.

Rosamond now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Desert, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Rosamond won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Roadrunners will need to watch out since the Stars have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Desert, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Frazier Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
