Soccer Recap: Seagoville Comes Up Short

Seagoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Adams Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 713th, while the Cougars are ranked 304th).

Seagoville's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Adams, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Seagoville will head out to challenge West Mesquite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Adams, they will host North Mesquite at 7:25 p.m. on Friday. Adams knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully North Mesquite likes a good challenge.
