Baseball Recap: Baldwin Triumphs

Baldwin owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the West Nassau Warriors 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Warriors two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Not much got past Cooper Farah, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep West Nassau off the board. That's the most strikeouts Farah has posted since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Baldwin's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mason Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Baldwin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. With the loss, West Nassau broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.

Coming up, Baldwin will take on Fletcher at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Nassau, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beachside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
