Triway waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Wooster Generals.

The team relied heavily on Kenzie Gatti, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Hochstetler, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Triway hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 6-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Triway's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Wooster, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Triway will be playing at home against Independence at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wooster, they will venture away from home to challenge Loudonville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Generals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redbirds have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
