Volleyball Recap: North Atlanta's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

North Atlanta lost to North Hall back in August of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Laila Amos paced North Atlanta's offense, picking up six kills. Amos were helped by Dorothy Perno and Genevieve Pawlowski, who contributed nine assists each. Amos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The win was the fourth in a row for North Atlanta, bringing their record up to 8-1. As for North Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

North Atlanta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against South Effingham on the 23rd. As for North Hall, they will take on Pickens at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
